A specialized class in “Publishing” has been opened at Secondary School No. 58

Starting from September 2025, as a result of the collaboration between Secondary School No. 58 in Almaty and the College of Print Media Technologies, a new specialized class has begun its work. This initiative allows students to determine their future professional direction early on and to gain knowledge in a specific field.

The specialized class was established in the “Publishing” field, giving students the opportunity to explore the fundamentals and intricacies of the printing industry. Every week, on Mondays, masters of industrial training from the College of Print Media Technologies — N.S. Duyssembai and A.E. Ospanova — come to the school to conduct career-oriented lessons for 9th-grade students. The classes consist of both practical and theoretical components aimed at developing students’ creative and technical skills.

This initiative represents one of the first steps toward training qualified specialists who meet the requirements of the modern labor market. Moreover, students gain the opportunity to become acquainted with professional education while still at school and to make a conscious choice of their future career path.
