Pursuant to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Combating Corruption», an awareness-raising session was held with the staff of the Printmedia Technology College on issues related to corruption prevention and combating corruption.

The main objective of the session was to explain to the staff the negative impact of corruption on the development of society and the state, prevent corruption-related offences, ensure compliance with legal requirements, and enhance legal awareness.

During the session, the concept of corruption, its main manifestations, ways of preventing corruption-related offences, as well as issues of liability established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan were discussed.

In addition, emphasis was placed on the need to observe the principles of legality, integrity, transparency, and fairness in the performance of official duties, prevent conflicts of interest, and take measures to prevent corruption risks.

At the end of the session, the participants were informed that fostering an anti-corruption culture is a shared responsibility of every citizen. An exchange of views was held among the college staff aimed at promoting the principle of «No to Corruption!».

During the event, the participants asked questions of interest to them and shared their suggestions on preventing corruption.
