Printmedia Technologies College Student Becomes Prize Winner of the International Youth Project Competition “Book of the Future”
Nikol Epifanova, a second-year student of Group 5-24 at Printmedia Technologies College, under the supervision of Mengul Nurlykanovna Sagandykova, successfully presented her authorial project “Read and Act” at the International Youth Project Competition “Book of the Future”, organized by Moscow Polytechnic University in cooperation with the Russian Book Union.
The competition is aimed at supporting and developing youth initiatives that promote reading, creating opportunities for the professional growth of creative young people from Russia and other countries, and facilitating the implementation of socially significant projects.
The project “Read and Act”, developed by Nikol Epifanova, successfully passed the preliminary selection stage and was included among the 32 best projects that advanced to the final round of the international competition. The project was presented in the “Reading Promotion Campaign” category and received high praise from the expert community.
The project is particularly relevant as it aligns with the objectives of the Reading Culture Promotion Concept approved by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, on May 16, 2026. The initiative, aimed at increasing young people's interest in reading and fostering an active reading culture, became a worthy example of implementing state policy in the fields of education and culture on an international platform.
As a result of the competition, the project “Read and Act” was awarded a Second-Degree Diploma, confirming both the high level of preparation of the participant and the practical significance of the proposed idea.
The project received high recognition from Denis Alexandrovich Kotov, a member of the Board of the Russian Book Union and founder of Bookvoed, the largest bookstore chain in Saint Petersburg. In his review, the expert highlighted the relevance and potential of the project and expressed his willingness to support the promotion and implementation of the reading challenge proposed within the project.
Nikol Epifanova’s successful performance at the international level is a significant achievement and a testament to the active participation of Kazakhstani youth in promoting reading culture, strengthening international cooperation, and advancing socially significant initiatives.
We sincerely congratulate Nikol Epifanova and her academic supervisor, Mengul Nurlykanovna Sagandykova, on this well-deserved achievement and wish them continued success in implementing new projects and creative ideas! 🎉📚🏆
