On April 30, 2026, a city Olympiad titled “Intellectual Frontier: Boundaries of Knowledge” was held at the Communal State Enterprise “College of Printmedia Technologies.” The event was organized for students of educational institutions in Almaty and covered general education subjects: physics, mathematics, and computer science.

The Olympiad was organized by college instructors and methodologists. Its main objective was to identify talented students in the fields of physics, mathematics, and computer science, to develop their intellectual and creative potential, and to deepen their interdisciplinary knowledge while fostering practical application skills.

Students from technical and vocational education institutions across Almaty participated in the Olympiad, demonstrating a high level of knowledge and competence. In total, 21 participants from 5 colleges applied and competed in a team format.

The Olympiad consisted of three stages:

Stage I – “STEM World” (qualifying round)
Participants prepared video presentations on the topic “One Idea – Three Sciences.” They were required to demonstrate the interconnection between physics, mathematics, and computer science. The best works advanced to the next stages.

Stage II – “Intellectual Competition”
Participants demonstrated their theoretical knowledge in the subjects.

Stage III – “STEM Practice”
Participants showcased their practical skills by solving mathematical, physical, and computer science problems.

The final stage of the Olympiad was engaging and highly competitive. Participants showed great enthusiasm and successfully demonstrated their knowledge under competitive conditions.
