On October 30, 2024, in accordance with the Media Plan of the Almaty City Department of Education, a roundtable discussion was held at the College of Print Media Technologies under the theme "Utilizing Advanced Technologies of New Trends in the Printing Education Process." The event was dedicated to the Year of Working Professions – 2025 and the Employers' Day.

The roundtable brought together employers from large and medium-sized printing enterprises in Almaty, including Executive Director of LLP "RPBK DÁUIR" A.I. Kusainova, Director of LLP "Image Technology" E.A. Lyuts, as well as representatives of the Kazakhstan Association of Advertising Professionals and the Association of Publishers, Printers, and Book Distributors of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the discussion, participants jointly assessed the development and steady growth of the industry and identified new challenges, educational trends, future technologies, and competencies needed by professionals in the printing and publishing sector in Almaty.

As part of the roundtable, a tripartite memorandum of understanding and cooperation was signed between the State Communal Government-Run Enterprise "College of Print Media Technologies," the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Republican State Enterprise on the Right of Economic Management "Gylym Ordasy" of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
