A bookbinding machine operator is a qualified printing production specialist responsible for the binding of printed materials. They assemble the pages of books, magazines, brochures, notebooks, and other printed products and assemble them using specialized bookbinding machines.
Primary responsibilities
The operator includes starting and adjusting bookbinding machines, monitoring their technical condition, checking the quality of finished products, and ensuring compliance with industrial safety requirements. They also ensure the proper execution of production operations, such as paper block preparation, gluing, stitching, and cutting.
The bookbinding machine operator is responsible for the high-quality, compliant production of printed products and facilitates the smooth operation of the production process.
Duration of training:
Training is offered full-time in the state and Russian languages.
Based on basic general education (grade 9) – 2 years 10 months (budget-funded)
Based on secondary general education (grade 11) – 10 months. (budget-funded department)
