Current Status: | Major stages of integrating international experience into the college’s educational process have been completed. |
As a result of the international internship, a number of activities were carried out to familiarize the entire college staff with the acquired experience. Additionally, a city-level seminar was held on the topic: "The Experience of European Countries in Organizing the Educational Process through the Implementation of Modern Production Technologies and WorldSkills Standards in the Field of Printing and Packaging Technology."
The seminar was organized to facilitate the exchange of experiences among TVET educators following the international internships of vocational training instructors in Germany and the Czech Republic.
The experience gained during the international internship is being systematically integrated into the educational process of the college. The work on implementing advanced international practices into the college's educational system is carried out in four stages:
Stage One (Preparatory) includes: analysis and synthesis of internship materials, summarizing the results of the internship, identifying key themes for experience generalization, developing an implementation plan to integrate the acquired experience into the college's educational process, preparing reports, methodological materials, plans for open lessons, seminars, and workshops.
Stage Two (Core) – implementation at the level of teachers: testing advanced practices in real educational settings, conducting seminars and workshops for colleagues, evaluating the applicability of the summarized experience in the college’s teaching process, writing and publishing articles. This stage also includes practical synthesis of internship experience, presentation of innovative practices at various levels, and mentoring. College teachers gain proficiency in the summarized materials of the international internship experience.
Stage Three (Core) – implementation at the level of students: direct familiarization of students with advanced technologies, conducting open lessons, developing thesis topics based on international experience, and working with students on their graduation projects. Key indicators of effective implementation include the prompt resolution of educational and production tasks, improved quality of professional training lessons, and enhanced skills of both teachers and future graduates. Objective evaluation is ensured through comprehensive analysis and synthesis of the implementation results.
Stage Four – implementation at the employer level: assessment of how international practices are being adopted and applied in teachers’ future work. This includes conducting seminars and round tables with employers, demonstrating results of the international experience implementation among college teachers and students, and discussing plans to integrate foreign practices into the operations of the printing industry. Additionally, this stage involves discussions and approval of proposed changes to the educational programs, with subsequent updates to the college curricula.
The main goal of implementing the international internship experience is to enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and competencies in professional subjects by improving teacher qualifications, updating educational infrastructure, and adapting it to domestic market conditions, which in turn can increase the competitiveness of college graduates in the labor market.
To date, a significant part of the implementation plan has been fulfilled. The project was carried out according to the scheme shown in Figure 1.
